A 26-year-old girl, Afua, has died after she was knocked down by a vehicle while helping to provide refreshment at her father’s funeral at Suhum in Ghana.
According to reports, Afua, joined other members of her family from Prestea to attend the funeral of her father, Adu Maxwell, who also reportedly died through an accident last month. She was however serving mourners when tragedy struck. A speeding saloon car heading to Suhum from Kumasi veered off the road into the funeral grounds, crushing her in the process. Meanwhile, two other mourners from Accra who were at the funeral were also involved in an accident Saturday evening.
