Murray swipes his racquet angrily again at Tsonga aces him with a slider out wide at deuce. Ah, conjurer's magic wand this time, floating a lob up and over, but suddenly it's Tsonga with the glint in his eye and zip in his step - slamming volley, break maintained, match once again alive.10:49
Double-fault from Murray, 30-30. Sizzling return, Murray not moving his feet, break point. Another big return, Murray long, and the break has slipped away. Murray bounces his racquet into the turf, and then a second time - that both came from nowhere and was strangely easy to predict.

Murray seems slightly vexed by his inability to capitalise with immediate effect in this set, glancing up at Ivan Lendl, grimacing, practising a slow-motion shot with his empty hand. Rest easy, champ, the breeze is at your back.

Nicola Jade: What a contrast between those two sets. First one was just pure tension. The second just utter dominance from Murray.

Chris Goldsmith: The seven Wimbledon semi-finalists age so far... 34, 30, 25, 36, 34, 28 & 29...  experience often counts on the grass.

The sun in behind clouds, the air still warm, the grandstands all rammo. Hold to 30, a little calm meander in this rushing river of a contest.

You felt like the match was over if Tsonga lost his serve early in the third.

Now he can get his head down, he beat Federer from two sets down here.

Got to say #Murray looks something different to the rest this tournament. Is it the #Lendleffect? @Wimbledon @BBCSport @AndrewCastle63

Another chance for Murray, 30-30, second serve, ball in the hitting zone - alas, tugs it into net. Good chasing from Tsonga, keeps his chin above water.
